Internships in Public Service- Federal Semester

Are you interested in gaining experience in the Federal sector?  The Federal Semester program aims to help students, from different disciplines and interests, learn more about working with various sectors of the Federal government, as well as affiliated non-profit and private partners.  The Federal Semester program provides students with a seminar/internship experience in the policy areas of Health Care, Energy & Environment, Homeland Security, and Development & Diplomacy.  Students in the program participate in a Fall seminar taught by leaders from each sector and earn credit while gaining experience in the Spring working with a federal agency, Capitol Hill, or related non-profit & private firms.

We seek students with a firm commitment to service and interest in learning what it is like to work in the Federal sector, and especially students who have demonstrated their abilities in the classroom.  The Federal Semester program is for rising Juniors and Seniors, so, if you are a transfer student, now is your chance to apply for an academic & internship experience that will better position you for your future career decisions.

Applications are due:  April 28
